When you go on a trip it can be hard to choose a souvenir. My souvenir of choice is a Christmas ornament. If I got somewhere that has interesting and beautiful art I will also try and purchase local beads. This allows me to remember my trips when I see the jewelry I made.
I have made a couple trips to the American Southwest. The artwork and jewelry is beautiful. If you buy a piece that is already put together it can be quite expensive. I found a couple of bead shops that allowed me to make several necklaces and have beads for additional projects.
