Lint Cameos

I have a weird sadness about throwing away dryer lint. Throwing away most things makes me feel sad. I feel like it should have another purpose but I am just not sure what it is. I am not certain that making cameos out of dryer lint is a solution, but I did it. 

So I am not grossed out easily and this grossed me out. I knew that dryer lint was composed of clothing particles. I was not expecting the cat hair. We are going to at least pretend it was only cat hair. So I am not highly recommending this or at least I am giving a fair warning. 

The result was pretty cool in my opinion and has a lot of potential. You can paint them. It helps the face show up. I also think they would sew onto clothes easily because they feel like cloth. All I did was mix the lint and glue and push into the silicone molds. 

Materials Needed

Gloves 🙂

Glue 

Dryer lint

Cameo silicone molds

Step one

Mix dryer lint and glue

Step two 

Push the mixture into a mold

Step three 

Allow drying 

You can stop here and have lint colored cameos

Step 4

Paint the body of the cameo one color and the background a separate color
