This little cart has been used as a diaper changing table, a kids bookshelf, and of course a kitchen island. It was looking a little beat up so I decided to give it a facelift. I love stained wood and I also love teal. I used both of them when I flipped this IKEA kitchen island.
First thing I did was to sand it down to allow for the paint to adhere.
I stained the top using oops stain from Home Depot. I find the transformation that stain causes amazing! It is so beautiful.
I used another can of oops paint from Home Depot to paint the bottom. I buy all the pretty oops paints because you never know when you can use them!
The bathroom stool still has teal lines on it from being used to assist in wheel painting.
It is being used as a kitchen island again to display all my Pioneer Woman stuff.
