DIY Resin Cameo

Cameos make me happy. Old things make me happy. I have always loved making cameo necklaces with cameos from old vintage jewelry or from the craft store. Being able to make my own cameos is a new special fun. Making cameos from resin is super simple. Especially if it is just one color. 

I used resin to make my first cameos. The first ones were singular in color because I had not yet thought about painting the face a different color. 

I have really enjoyed my green cameo. You can still see the face even though it is all the same color. Being able to pick any color you want is fun because you match it to a specific outfit. 

Materials Needed

Cameo Silicone Mold

Resin

Pigment

Step one

Mix resin according to package instructions

Step two

Add pigment to resin

Step three

Pour into the resin mold

Step four

Allow to dry

Step five

Glue to metal pendant if desired
