DIY Christmas Cameo

When I discovered I could make my own cameos I decided I would make a Christmas cameo. I prefer to wear cameos and the idea of making a cameo for any occasion is very exciting to me. I made the cameo with a white face, red background, and green frame.

The face of the cameo needs to be painted with a brush and allowed to dry before adding the background color. See my two-color cameo tutorial to see how to make the cameo.

I purchased a red plastic bead mix from Walmart. I used a few small green plastic pearls as well.

I made this cameo out of resin. You could also use Model Magic, bead clay, Modge Podge, or even glue. Check out my cameo tutorials.

Step 3

Paint the face of the cameo with white. Allow drying 24 hours. If you don’t allow it to dry the colors will mix.
