Chalk Spray Paint Flip

I did several furniture flips before I moved. I learned that spray paint is so much faster! I had to do around 4 coats of paint on the china cabinet. There are some places on this spray paint dresser that are a little off but the I think the chalk paint is really forgiving. This is step by step how I flipped my dresser with spray paint.

So I painted it this color. I don’t know why.

The design is beautiful, isn’t it? I really don’t remember why I thought it was okay to paint in the first place. Since I had already ruined it, I thought I might as well spray paint it.

I needed to sand it first to allow the paint to adhere.

I didn’t want to sand it down completely just enough for the paint to stick.

Then I spray paint it. It was fast! It was easy!

You do have to be careful and make sure and do it right the first time. It is easy to see where you had to go back and touch up. It’s not as easy to see inside.

The drawer pulls were in need of a cleaning. I bathed them in a bath of vinegar and baking soda.

Who knew the drawer pulls were that color?

I tried to make it on one can but I did have to get another to do some touch ups.

Much better than that awful brown color!
